Ron Paul to run as a democrat and challenge obama

What a great idea. Instead of Ron Paul answering ridiculous questions from Chris Wallace and other foxnews war mongers, debating or not debating other republican candidates he would take obama head on NOW. RIGHT NOW not in a year but now, front stage.

I'm sure other candidates would jump in to attack Paul but he would have been the initiate and divide their party. This would wake republican voters up to the idea Ron Paul could beat obama. Just imagine the debate! They're not going to give Ron Paul the chance in a year to debate obama if the republican run media continue to skip over his name.

This in all modesty is a brilliant strategy I've been talking about for a while now. Ron Paul would get to cut to the chase. He'd have time to take on obama when much of the republican debates thus far are about taking on his foreign policy position. He'd get to take on obama's foreign policy modeled closely after bush's.

I'll even take it a step further and have him run as both a democrat and republican simultaneously. He's neither one but needs the votes of those in each party who are just the same.

The democrat leaning if not toppling over channel msnbc will host the next debate in September. They're either going to try and weaken the other republicans by blaming them for the lack of attention granted to Paul and that they are now copying his ideas for political gain or they're going to attack Paul extremely hard on newsletters, Iran etc. I'm guessing the latter. As much as they think obama could easily beat Paul they have to know how utterly weak their guy is. They also have to realize he's monkey see monkey does and is not very smart at all. I'd put him somewhere in between a grapefruit and the Bill O'Reilly. (Singin')Giddy I ae, giddy I ae, giddy I ae for the one-eyed Reilly, Giddy I ae, (clap, clap, clap) try it on your old big drum.

Ron Paul desperately needs to clarify his position on entitlements. I know his position but liberals and more importantly independents do not quite understand it. Ron Paul wants to end entitlement but that doesn't mean he wants to throw people out in the streets. He wants to ween people off of them.

Another broken promise of obama is he said he would not go after those using medical marijuana. Federal agents routinely go after people who use medical marijuana. They shoot them, aim guns at their wife/baby, shoot their dog etc. Ron Paul has a long history of wanting to end the drug wars. He would sign an executive order to that effect if elected. He needs to attract those voters(many of which are democrats and independents).

So running as a democrat and forcing obama to run on his record would be very healthy for the country. Just imagine if he won the primary (and don't count him out) and had to take on the republican candidate now adopting his positions. What a laugh that would be.
